Cookies Policy

Effective Date: August 15, 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how KRYLANE Studio Inc. (“KRYLANE Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on krylane.com (the “Site”), what each type does, and how you can control them.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is being used.

We also use technologies that work in a similar way. Pixels and tracking tags are tiny transparent images or snippets of code that record that a page was loaded or an action was taken, used mainly for advertising measurement. Local storage and session storage are browser storage mechanisms that hold data on your device, often used to remember settings between page loads. Software development kits (SDKs) and server-side tags are code that sends event data to analytics or advertising platforms. Throughout this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.

Cookies are either first-party or third-party. First-party cookies are set by krylane.com itself, while third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use on the Site, such as Google or Meta.

They also differ in how long they last. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to make the Site work properly and securely, to remember your cookie consent choices so that we do not ask you on every page, to understand which pages and content visitors find useful, to measure whether our advertising is working, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site where you have consented to that. We also use them to operate the AI chatbot and keep your conversation in context during a session, and to detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are required for the Site to function. They cannot be switched off in our consent tool, and they do not require your consent. We use them to store your cookie consent choices, which are typically retained for 6 to 12 months so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. We also use them to maintain a secure session and to route and balance traffic, both of which last only for the duration of your browsing session. Form security and spam prevention cookies, such as CSRF tokens and bot detection, last anywhere from a single session up to 6 months. Finally, a session cookie keeps your chatbot conversation in context while you are on the Site.

Functional Cookies: These improve your experience but are not essential, and blocking them may make parts of the Site less convenient. Functional cookies remember preferences such as your language or region, and whether you have already dismissed a banner or popup. Both of these typically last up to 12 months. Embedded content such as video players, maps, and scheduling widgets may set its own cookies, with durations that vary by provider.

Analytics & Performance Cookies: These help us understand how visitors use the Site so that we can improve it, and the data is generally reported in aggregate. Google Analytics (GA4) sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors from one another and to measure sessions and engagement. These typically last up to 24 months. Google Tag Manager sets session cookies that manage which tags fire on the Site. Where heatmap or session-recording tools are enabled, they set cookies lasting up to 12 months that help us understand scroll depth, clicks, and page interaction. We enable IP anonymization in Google Analytics where the platform supports it.

Advertising & Remarketing Cookies: These are set by advertising platforms to measure campaign performance and show you relevant ads on other websites and apps, and they are only set where you have given consent. Google Ads sets cookies including _gcl_* and a conversion linker, used for conversion tracking and remarketing, typically lasting up to 90 days. The Meta Pixel, covering Facebook and Instagram, sets _fbp and fr for conversion tracking, audience building, and remarketing, also typically lasting up to 90 days. The LinkedIn Insight Tag sets li_sugr, bcookie, and UserMatchHistory for business-to-business conversion tracking and audience matching, typically lasting up to 6 months. Where Microsoft Advertising / Bing UET is enabled, it sets cookies for conversion tracking and remarketing that can last up to 13 months.

Cookie names and durations are set by the providers and may change without notice. The descriptions above reflect our understanding at the “Last Updated” date.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Their Policies

Third parties set cookies through the Site and process the resulting data under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.

For Google, covering Analytics, Ads, and Tag Manager, see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
For Meta Platforms, covering Facebook and Instagram, see https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
For LinkedIn, see https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
For Microsoft, see https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

We do not control third-party cookies and cannot access the data they collect through them, except in the aggregated reporting the platforms provide to us.

5. Your Choices

Cookie Consent Banner: When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the Site footer. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using the Site, though strictly necessary cookies will still be set.

Browser Controls: Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. In Google Chrome, go to Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies. In Safari, go to Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. In Mozilla Firefox, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data. In Microsoft Edge, go to Settings, then Cookies and site permissions. On mobile browsers, see your device’s browser privacy settings. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other websites.

Opting out of analytics: You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Opting out of interest-based advertising: You can use Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, Meta Ad Preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences, the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info, the Network Advertising Initiative at https://optout.networkadvertising.org, or Your Online Choices at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out of interest-based advertising does not stop you seeing ads; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.

Global Privacy Control: We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension transmits GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information for California residents, and we will not set advertising cookies.

Do Not Track. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, and the Site does not currently respond to them. Please use the controls described above instead.

6. Cookies on Websites We Build for Clients

When KRYLANE Studio builds a website, chatbot, or automation for a client, any cookies and tracking on that website are controlled by the client, not by KRYLANE Studio. This Cookies Policy does not apply to client websites.

Clients are responsible for the legality of tracking on their own sites, including obtaining valid consent where required. Where we install analytics, pixels, or a consent tool at a client’s request, we do so as an implementer acting on the client’s instructions. See our Terms of Service and Disclaimer.

7. Changes to This Cookies Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy as our Site, our tools, or the law changes. The “Last Updated” date shows when the current version took effect. Where a change materially affects the categories of cookies we use, we will re-prompt for consent through the banner.
